For reflector, use aluminium foil will give u 3x better effect than the cover box.To get better black background. try to cover the top part of the black ppaer so the light doesn't fall on the background but only on the figure.
good idea B… thanks for tip ^_^ kinda Started Learning PhotoGraphy last week. mostly on the Aperture and Lens haha. the aluminum will make a Good Diffuser 😀
hi khaidir.. i think you are confusing "diffuser" with "reflector".. i think you used the diffuser as reflector, which is why it is a failure. to make a diffuser, cut out a rectangular hole in the box, maybe 1/2 inch away from the edges. then, cover the hole with the paper. then what you do is put the diffuser in between the figure and light source.like: figure – diffuser – lighti'll probably make one tomorrow and take a pic of the set-up.b-mecha is right if you'll use aluminum foil as a reflector to get an even light shining on your figure.
